RIA Case Study: Rehmann Financial
With 100 staff members (including 30 advisors) spread out across 13 offices in two states, managing information and ensuring compliance had become increasingly complex and expensive for Rehmann Financial. Once they purchased Laserfiche, staff integrated it with their CRM, Junxure, and began using Workflow to manage correspondence, checks and securities logs, which has made the firm more compliant – and more competitive. “We’ve grown by merging with small firms, and one of the things that sells us is that we have these great business processes in place,” says Operations Manager Amy Flourry. “We’ve seen other firms and we’re a step ahead of the game.”
GME: Durham County, NC
Over the past year and a half, one of the major strategic projects for Durham County’s IT Department has been upgrading and standardizing its ECM infrastructure. “In the past, ECM was viewed as a departmental application,” explains Systems Development Supervisor Steve Barden. “We came to realize, however, that this is an inefficient and resource-intensive approach.” Of the County’s 32 departments, four were already using Laserfiche, so the County decided to standardize on Laserfiche. Today, Durham County has a 605-user Rio system, along with Quick Fields and Laserfiche Records Management Edition. “In the long term we know that standardizing on Laserfiche is going to help the entire organization be more sustainable, more efficient and more available to our citizens,” Barden says.
